BlackOvis Chockstone Woven Stretch Belt

I never thought I’d be leaving a bad review of a black ovis product, because I love their stuff. But, this belt: screws on the buckle came off. Haven’t worn the pants but twice in the woods and a few times to work (non labor). I really wanted to like it bc I desperately needed a good belt for the backcountry.

I've spent a long time looking for a nice belt to use every day. Nothing I have ever had has been exactly what I was looking for. This belt was the one. I use it nearly every day, and I never feel like it is too tight or too loose. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new belt because it is just that good.

This has been the best belt I have purchased yet. It stays where I put it, and it stretches!

Awesome belt!

Great belt. Holds my pants up well and is not bulky or hard. Quality is fantastic. The fit is perfect for me and not bulky but strong enough to hold up a fun. Does not stretch which is a bonus. Great for hunting or everyday wear

Great belt for the price, quality better than expected.

This is a good belt although I got it too late for hunting this year. I have used it several times just outside in the yard and seems to accomplish when I'm hoping for hunting belt. I don't like the buckle but it does stay so that's more important

The belt is fine aa a minimal belt has performed well of the last 2 years. Then the metal grip bar just broke off when I started tighten the belt before a hike. Guess for the price 2 years is not a bad deal. I may order another one or go a different route.

I like this belt, but wish it was a little wider and the elastic was slightly less stiff. It's pretty low profile and comfortable.

Awesome belt! It is super comfortable and stretchy. I love how thin it is and it feels like you are not wearing a belt except for the fact your pants don't fall off. I definitely want to get one in every color.

He is super picky but really loves this one. He used to have one from camo fire but this is a good replacement. Please get the tan back in stock in L/XL. thanks!

The belt is comfortable and I like the stretch to it. The only thing that I did not like about the belt is on the end where they melted the webbing. It's hard and scratchy and rubs up against my skin. I had a small piece of fleece fabric sewed over the end which helps a lot. That would be a nice upgrade for the belt.

I liked the belt but the buckle fell apart after only a two months.

Not easy to tighten

My go to belt for hunting stretches and moves with you doesn't cut into hips when wearing pack. A must have, don't think twice

Bought this belt a few months back and initially it was great. Easy to put on, easy to tighten, and stretched with me when active. Could've been a bit wider since my jeans liked to roll down over the belt, but not a deal-breaker. Then after about 4 months I take my belt off 1 day and the hasp on the buckle is loose. 1 of the screws, which are tiny, had worked its way out. If I can find a replacement screw, I'll loctite them both in. But for now, the belt is just coiled up on my dresser.

Great belt if u want a belt with flex around your waist. If thats what you're looking u best get chew one of these babies

The elastic is genius. You can add a touch of tension and your pants never slip.

All around good belt for hiking in stretches with you

Comes true to size, and has a (slight) stretch to its material. Buckle is nice and simple, and stays secure. Only complaint is that it smelled of chemicals, so I soaked it in a bowl of scent killing detergent for an hour and now it’s fine.

I've purchase 3 of these belts. The woven stretchy fabric is great and the buckle holds well when it is one piece. The buckle on one of the belts recently fell apart when the 2 tiny micro screws became loose allowing the black bar to fall off the buckle frame. If I could recover the tiny, tiny screws, I think I could repair the buckle.

Ordered this one because the last one one of the screws fell out and the belt came loose. I couldn’t find a screw that small to replace it with

I like how the belt has some flex to it as I move. The belt is not as wide as some other belts, which allows me to wear it in pants that have small loops.

I’ve only had it for a few weeks but so far it is a pretty good belt. One complaint is that the end when it comes through has the square corner on top so when I bend over it tends to poke me. I have chosen to wear it backwards so the tapered corner end is up and then I don’t get stuck with it in the stomach.

I like the belt so far. The fit is good
