Excellent. This is the warmest fleece top I own. This one is heavier than most but very breathable.

Love this hoody. Warm but not heavy. Perfect for wearing over a t shirt and under a puffy. Would recommend

This is an excellent mid layer grid fleece. Dries quick. Heavier than anticipated though. The hood is doubled up on material which is a nice touch - but I didn't feel it is needed

I run warm so this is a great layer for 20-30° calm winds or 40° with wind. I wish they made a full zip version

Love the fleece... But as usual it runs small. 6' 190 lbs and I run a large in everything. Ordered a large and feel I need to dislocate my shoulders to take it off. And as others have written. The hood will not even come close to zipping up. Order up a size... Other than that I really do like it and will probably give this to my son and order a XL.

Great material. Runs a little small but not bad. Sadly the hood is not gonna work like it should. Great otherwise.

I like all the features of this grid fleece hoodie, except the actual hood. It covers all the way up to your eyes!? Also when worn hood up, unzipped, the zipper corners are in view. Fit is athletic and slightly long. Very comfortable, so I do use it a lot.

Very well made product. Runs in lines with other Blackovis gear. I am between the large and xL I ordered both to be sure to get the right fit. The XL fit perfect except it was way long. Went past my belt line about 4 inches. I’m 5/9 and 185 pounds. The large fit perfect except was to tight to be able to layer under it like I like to do. So had my Mother in law hem up the Extra large and remove the extra and now it’s the perfect layer for my AZ Coues Deer hunts. My Oldest son now has the large I ordered and loves it as well. Blackovis is doing things right. Making good gear at Affordable prices for us Common folk Hunters. That don’t care to spend $300 on the same exact product under a bigger name.

6’ 190 lbs purchased an xl fits great for what I was wanting. Nice enough to wear out casual and great for layering on my hunting trips.

Super fit and feel of this item. Quality seems to be top notch on this item.

Great mid layer exactly the right fit and material

So I have Gohunt and Sitka this seems very comparable. Like it's not so expensive. From Indiana and we are just starting to see some 40s in the morning. I have been using it so far as a work out piece with plans ti move it to hunting as needed.

This hoodie is perfect. It is form fitting which I love because it doesn't make me look big, etc. Love the material as well.

The hoodie looks and feels like it’s made well but I haven’t field tested it yet so I can’t speak on warmth and durability. Arm and torso length are nice and long so no issues with it pinching into my armpits or riding up to my belly bottom if I raise my arms.
I didn’t give it 5 stars because the overall fit is a little bit off. The shoulders are very narrow, the midsection pouch area is baggy and the bottom is somewhere in between. The zipper should stop about 6” lower on the hood because I don’t think anybody could zip it up higher then that.
5’ 11”, 205 lbs, 44” chest, 34” waist and I went with the XL but usually wear a L. I’m sure a large would fit better in the mid section but the shoulders would be too tight.

fit well thru the shoulders but is extremely tight at the waist... almost unwearable

Love it. In Montana right now. Hunted for 10 days and almost never removed this shirt. I got hot a few times and ran a merino base layer and vest after removing this. Otherwise, I’ve lived in this thing. Hauled my bull in 3 trips with this shirt. Wish there were more color options. I recommend highly.

Fit is very athletic even sized up one. the hood and neck area is way off on fitment, unless you have an extra long neck and a tiny head.

The fit of this is ok is you are slim. The hood is absolutely terrible.

Very fitted piece. Heavy and warm. I wish the front pockets had zippers to close. The hood is also very tight when zipped up all the way. Probaby one of my favorite pull-overs.

This is a very warm piece as works great as a mid-layer. This works fantastic as an active insulation hoodie. I live in Northwest Colorado and I've enjoyed wearing this on the chilly mornings when I'm hiking a long ways back. This will be a layer that I will always keep in my pack. It definitely has an athletic cut to it, so it is fairly form fitting. I'm 6 foot, 150 lbs and I usually wear a medium so that's what I bought and it fits me great. It's not overly snug like a lot of people say. My one compliant is the hood. The top of the zipper area I think is suppose to go over the face, but it is too tight and horribly uncomfortable if it is zipped all the way up.

Fits me in the body great but the hood is terrible. When zipped up it legit covers my eyes and just leaves my forehead exposed. Zipper is also pretty bad. I don’t know how this got passed as a product ready for market.

Love this hoodie. This is my second one. Very warm and the grid pattern looks nicer than a normal hoodie. Fit is snug but comfortable. I'm 6 ft, 165 lb and wear a M - if I were any bigger I may need a L. Only downside is the hood, which is too tight to fully zip.

Soft comfortable fabric, based the size I got off of another shirt I got from here which I ordered an xl and it was snug. I’m 6’ tall 185 lbs and got an xl which fits as more of a light weight hoodie style on me. Very comfortable tho.

Hood is a little odd but other than that a solid piece of gear.

I bought this on sale because I'm a sucker for sales. This turned into my favorite hoodie almost instantly. I agree with prior reviews that the hood shape is odd. I use it half zipped up my face and I like how it keeps the wind off my face. Great athletic fit, very warm and perfect for layering. I'm thinking about buying another one soon.
